About the job GENERAL MANAGER (CONSTRUCTION FIRM)
Role Description
To direct & supervise all construction management activities related to Business, Operations and Sales.
To lead the company to be listed in the stock exchange
Fully responsible for the company’s P & L
Ability to create business plans, targets and overall business objectives
Ability to do Strategic Planning for the entire company
Proven analytical and problem solving skill.
Oversees all of the elements required to produce a product, including the raw materials, machinery and equipment and personnel.
Develop a plan for how to fulfil the order, including how much of the necessary materials to buy and what employees to schedule and when.
Monitor the quantity and quality of products made to ensure that order deadlines are made and company production standards are maintained.
Develop more efficient methods of production to decrease waste and increase production capabilities.
Manage the decision making process and monitor the procurement budget.
Ability to read and understand contracts and design drawings
Ability to manage the entire business
Excellent communicator who will oversee and manage the communication channel with customers, contractors, and consultants.
Requirements:
Need to be Civil Engineer from a reputed university, preferably recognised by BCA, PEB with minimum 8 years experience in a Top management role in Construction
To provide technical expertise in projects and business
Strong background in managing multi-division businesses
Proven experience managing multinational and multi discipline teams
