Service Engineer (M&E)
About the job Service Engineer (M&E)
Responsibilities:
Ability to work independently
Attend customer service requests
Ensure complete and effective equipment servicing
Recommend solutions to clients and put up for proposal to Supervisor
Provide Support to Testing & Commissioning upon request
Carry out Standby duty
Perform general technical duties, facilitate health checks and develop Lifecycle Replacement Programme
Support Planned Preventive Maintenance to Predictive and Proactive Maintenance Modes
Ensuring work compliances to standards, in accordance with engineering practices
Understanding Built Plans (M&E), Technical Literature and Equipment Manuals
Ensuring spare parts availability per scheduled and projected jobs requested
Equipment trouble-shooting, root cause analysis, review and propose solutions
Reports to supervisor for any work issues and non-compliances
Support Project - Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Integrated System Test (IST), Testing and Commissioning (T&C), User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Assist in training service engineer on proper work processes, operating procedures, equipment servicing, etc
Provide support for any emergency situation and after office hours
Support Supervisor on the day to day deployment and attendance administration using Microsoft Dynamic 365 mobile app.
Perform the service report using Microsoft Dynamic 365 mobile app.
Any other duties assigned by Supervisor
Requirements
Higher Nitec / Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2-5 years of relevant working experience
Preferably possess class 3 driving license
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work under pressure and independently
Preferably team lead capacity and ability to manage daily operations, possesses strong analytic skills, strong technical knowledge
Ability to work independently
