Technical Sales Manager
About the job Technical Sales Manager

The Job Role:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the customer on product requirements, functioning as the point-of-contact for all technical matters for customers and sales
- Identify and establish new business opportunities and customer base in the international markets
- Provide pre-sales support and technical assistance to sales
- Be familiar with current and future technology roadmaps and to work closely with technological partners
- Identify customer’s needs and provide advice on necessary product specifications
- Act as the technical interface between customers, sales and R&D Engineering teams
- Manage regular customer communication, sales and technical promotion
- Contribute and present complex technical information and business input to customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Engineering, Electronics Product Development, Telecommunications or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical/engineering related role is preferred
- Strong business acumen to understand market demands/ technological trends
- Driven, self-starter and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with stakeholders
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally (when necessary)
