About the job WSH Coordinator

Responsibilities
  • To assist WSH Officer in administer and implement an effective workplace safety and health management system in accordance with prevailing legislation
  • Ensure compliance of operation with workplace safety and health regulations and statutory requirements
  • Carried out Risk Assessments for  In-House and Project Sites
  • To investigate of any workplace accident and advise on the remedial measure to be taken to prevent any recurrence.
  • Promoting Workplace Safety and Health awareness among workers by organizing campaigns, training course, and etc
  • Participate in safety committee inspection and meeting
  • Conduct safety inspections regularly to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance to MOM safety requirements
  • To follow-up on necessary actions to ensure compliance with ISO and OHSAS standards
  • Any other adhoc duties as assigned by the superior
Requirements
  • Min. A level / Diploma in engineering or relevant field
  • Candidate must possess Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health and/or other relevant certificates
  • Minimum 2 years of construction experience
  • Class 3 Driving License
  • Good Communication Skills
