Position Overview

StaffHero is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (USRN) with an active Indiana Registered Nurse license to join our healthcare team. This fully remote role supports patients, healthcare providers, and clinical operations through patient communication, care coordination, clinical documentation, and other nursing-related responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and experienced in providing high-quality clinical support while working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing support and clinical guidance to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Conduct patient outreach, follow-up calls, and care coordination activities.
  • Review, document, and maintain accurate patient records in EMR/EHR systems.
  • Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, appointments, and available healthcare resources.
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Support case management, utilization review, patient intake, or clinical support functions as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, organizational policies, and client requirements.
  • Escalate urgent clinical concerns appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications


Required

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office.

Preferred

  • Additional active US state nursing licenses.
  • Experience in case management, utilization review, telehealth, patient intake, care coordination, or managed care.
  • Previous remote nursing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
