CNC Machinist / Operators

NordStaff Solutions is a leading staffing agency providing top-quality personnel to several industries. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Operators to join our team in Finland.

As a CNC Machinist/Operator at NordStaff Solutions, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. You will work with a variety of materials, such as metal, wood and plastic, to create parts that meet strict quality standards. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications

- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and other technical documents

- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet required tolerances

- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed

- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and tools

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and managers

- Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines

- Strong knowledge of CNC programming with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mastercam

-Experience on multi-spindle machines (2-7 spindle)

-Knowledge on Vertical and Horizontal lathes, Vertical and Horizontal machining centers, grinding machines

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and techniques

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and tools

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

- Experience with any of the following would be good to have:
CNC-lathe / Milling machine / Bending / Plasma / Laser machines / Rolling milling machines / Combustion cutting machines / Induction hardening machines / Pipe bending machines.
