Welder + Pipefitter / Fabricator

Position: Shipyard fabricator/welder

We are currently seeking skilled fabricators to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabrication tasks in our various projects in Shipyard. You will work closely with our team of skilled tradespeople and project managers to ensure high-quality work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as per project requirements

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

- Operate welding equipment and tools safely and effectively

- Inspect and test welded and fabricated components for quality assurance

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the welding and fabrication process

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipyard work

- Ability to pass welding certification test qualifications for 136 PE + PF.

- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

- Experience with Mig 136 welding method

- Knowledge of shipyard fabrication techniques especially in block works

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and quality

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
