Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Process Integration Engineer to join our team. As a Process Integration Engineer, you will work in a dynamic team environment at our leading technology fabrication facility located in Hillsboro, Oregon. The focus of this position is to work with device/process module/product engineering groups to develop silicon power device process technology and improve existing technology yield. Primary responsibilities include process flow implementation, electrical characterization (failure analysis), and wafer-level testing yield monitoring.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Power Device Technologies: New product introduction and yield improvement for MOSFET, IGBT, and TVS technologies.
  • New Product Introduction: Collaborate with the product engineering team to perform NPI (New Product Introduction) on existing platforms, including analysis of DOE/Pre-Production lots data and documentation according to NPI procedures to release new products.
  • Troubleshooting: Work with design groups within the company to troubleshoot device-related problems, provide documentation, and expertise to maximize the efficient use of process technologies.
  • Yield Monitoring/Improvement: Daily monitoring of existing technologies' wafer-level testing yield.
  • Root Cause Identification: Identify low yield root causes through failure analysis, inline data analysis, and lot history.
  • Collaboration: Work with process module groups to tighten inline control, set new targets, and optimize recipes for continuous yield improvement.

Required Education & Experience

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering degree.
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor process technology and wafer fabrication.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and experience with device processing and integration, test structure definition, design rule generation, DOE, failure analysis, process control document (PCD) generation, and device characterization.
  • Experience with high-voltage discrete power devices is preferred.
