Industrial Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer in Hillsboro, OR!

This individual will be responsible for optimizing operations by analyzing fab constraints, driving improvements, and maintaining inventory balance to support customer needs and company profitability.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Set daily Fab tactics to highlight key tool groups and action items, and review previous day's performance.
• Maximize equipment output by modeling theoretical capacity, including expected availability, utilization, and tool efficiency.
• Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and establish/track key business intelligence (BI) and key performance indicators (KPI).
• Own IE projects for specific production areas, identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements with manufacturing, process, and equipment groups.
• Analyze constraints to optimize Fab utilization and efficiency.
• Provide operational cost structure for various tool configurations, product mixes, and technology platforms.

Experience/Education

• Minimum Bachelor/Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, or related field.
• 1-3 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with Workstream is a significant plus.
• Experience with Postgres and VBA is a significant plus.

Qualifications/Other Requirements

• Proficient with MS Suite.
• Experience with expediting, MRP/ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, and manufacturing safety practices.
• Solid analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to support 24-hour operation.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
