Engineering Technician IV - Senior Instrumentation Technician

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Instrumentation Technician to support product testing and development in a collaborative, hands-on engineering environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician with strong experience in electrical circuits and drivetrain systems, particularly in off-road or heavy equipment applications. You'll play a critical part in building and maintaining test setups that drive product innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and troubleshoot electrical circuits used in test and process equipment, ranging from 5 to 700 volts.
• Partner closely with engineers to support mechanical test systems for engines, transmissions, and axles.
• Operate in a shop-floor setting (approximately 85% of the time), requiring strong collaboration and communication within a technical team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with electrical circuits used in testing or process systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic codes related to diesel engines and aftertreatment systems.
• Hands-on experience working with drivetrain components, including assembly and diagnostics.
• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years working with off-road or heavy-duty equipment.
• Deep understanding of drivetrain systems, with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize work.

Additional Details:

• First Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (minimal overtime expected).
• Shop-floor role with a business casual dress code and metatarsal safety footwear required on day one.
• Onsite from the first day, with no travel required.
• Some candidates may operate company equipment after completing training.
