Material Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our production support team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate delivery of materials to production lines, ensuring inventory accuracy, and proactively resolving part availability issues. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about driving efficiency across supply chain and material handling operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate material deliveries from source locations to point-of-use areas.
• Monitor and resolve part shortages and availability issues.
• Trigger and manage Kanban replenishment systems for production lines.
• Use SAP to manage material movement, transactions, and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct part count verifications and support audits as needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Management, Production Control, and Material Handling teams.
• Maintain a strong floor presence and contribute as part of an inclusive and dynamic production support team.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented, production floor setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP system experience
• Background in inventory management or material flow processes
• Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Exposure to process improvement initiatives or audit activities
• Relevant experience or education in supply chain, business, engineering, or manufacturing
