Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Operations Supervisor to lead 3rd shift production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring your team meets key performance indicators for safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. This is a critical leadership position focused on frontline team support, continuous improvement, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor production output and employee performance, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and delivery standards.
  • Take corrective actions, including coaching and discipline, to support employee accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative, communicative team culture with clear expectations and regular feedback.
  • Ensure all employees receive proper training, tools, and instruction to succeed in their roles.
  • Lead 5S initiatives, manpower planning, and department-level support of operational goals.
  • Manage daily operations with a focus on lean practices, budget adherence, and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven ability to make sound, timely decisions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership presence with experience conducting crucial conversations and enforcing policy.
  • Track record of driving cross-functional collaboration and performance improvement without direct authority.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.

What Sets You Apart

  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement principles to drive results.
  • At least two years of experience on the shop floor or in an environment using incentive-based pay systems (e.g., CIPP).
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Materials, or Supply Chain operations.
  • Proficiency in operational tools and systems, including SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
