Material Coordinator

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Coordinator to support our production operations in Dubuque, IA. This pivotal role ensures materials are procured, delivered, and available on time to maintain seamless production flow. You will be the key liaison between supply management and production, solving problems in real time to minimize downtime and keep schedules on track. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and flow of materials to support production schedules.
• Monitor and audit inventory levels, resolve discrepancies, and expedite materials as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and close material availability gaps.
• Analyze and resolve material shortages to prevent line stoppages.
• Implement engineering changes, deviations, and process adjustments efficiently.
• Actively manage critical shortage reports and take action to ensure part availability.

• Experience in supply chain, materials management, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with material flow concepts and inventory management best practices.
• Proficiency in SAP and a solid understanding of data analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience (23 years minimum).

Schedule:
First shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM. Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.
