2nd Shift Operations Supervisor

Shift: Monday Thursday | 2:30 PM 1:00 AM (10-hour shifts)

We are seeking a highly motivated 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor to lead a second-shift team responsible for material replenishment, forklift operations, order fulfillment, and inbound material processing. This role is essential in maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure employees are working in a safe and productive environment while adhering to company policies and industry standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and key operational metrics.
• Administer employee policies, monitor performance, address concerns, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Foster a positive work environment through clear communication, ensuring employees receive proper training, work instructions, and the necessary tools to succeed.
• Prioritize daily warehouse tasks based on production schedules, assign work accordingly, and manage overtime to meet operational deadlines.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least one year of experience in shop floor warehousing, work measurement, and incentive pay systems such as CIPP (Continuous Improvement Pay Plan).
• Three or more years of experience in team leadership, mentoring, and employee engagement.
• At least one year of experience working with production control systems.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both salaried and hourly personnel.
• Willingness to work multiple shifts, overtime, and some weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and 5S principles.
• Experience with capacity and manpower planning.
• Proven ability to lead change and improve team engagement.
• Bachelor's degree or three or more years of relevant experience.
