We are seeking an Electrification PV&V Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the testing and validation of advanced electrification technologies. In this position, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge electric drive systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Your Responsibilities

As an Electrification PV&V Engineer, you will:

  • Perform functional testing and analysis of electric drive systems, including electric machines, power electronics, control systems, wiring, and related components.
  • Collaborate with platform vehicle engineers to translate customer and vehicle requirements into system and component specifications, considering factors such as performance, cost, quality, schedule, diagnostics, and environmental standards.
  • Develop electrification subsystem test plans in partnership with Application Engineering.
  • Execute product testing through technology delivery, integrated system delivery, and product delivery formal processes.
  • Work closely with global teams, including engineers, vehicle platforms, consultants, and suppliers, to support system and component analysis, design, development, and verification.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Engineering or PV&V test engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience in the design or testing of electric drive systems, power electronics, and electric machines.
  • 1+ years of experience with product development processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to generate detailed product/system requirement documents, technical reports, and presentations.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to a secondary facility within a 40-minute drive.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with the design or testing of agricultural, hydraulic, electric, drivetrain, or powertrain components.
  • Advanced technical degree in electric drives or a related engineering discipline.
  • Familiarity with commercial and golf course turf care vehicles, zero-turn mowers, or green mowers.
  • Hands-on experience debugging electrical systems.

Education

A bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience is preferred.
