Manufacturing Engineer II - Material Flow Engineering

Summary:

As a Material Flow Engineer, you will support the strategic alignment of material flow processes and strategies within the factory. In addition, you will:

• Lead and facilitate projects of moderate scope supporting material movement, storage and presentation.
• Train stakeholders on material flow processes and tools.
• Work closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Planning to support processes and analysis related to warehouse, transportation, and inter-factory logistics.
• Support the factory continuous improvement, 5S and visual factory initiatives.

• Warehouse material flow experience
• Data analytics
• Python / robotic automation

Skills Desired for the Assignment:

• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Process-oriented with initiative in problem solving, identifying solutions, and sustaining results.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Industrial Engineering background.
• Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Python and other related data management software.
  
  

Education:

A Bachelors in mechanical engineering or a similar engineering field is highly preferred

Other Information:

• First shift position hours will be established at start of position, usually 6 AM 2:30 PM or 7 AM 3:30 PM
• Some overtime may be required, but will be communicated in advance
• Will provide 1 week notice or more if a split shift is needed for work to be completed
