Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to support internal communications initiatives and project execution within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in communication strategy and project management who enjoys juggling multiple priorities and engaging with diverse stakeholders. As part of our employee communications team, you will help ensure messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational goalswhile also contributing creatively through writing and light design.

Work Schedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite / 1 day remote weekly)
Note: Fully remote candidates are not eligible for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communications Project Management (60%): Lead and coordinate internal communications projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Writing & Design Support: Draft internal content, such as stories, articles, and announcements; provide light templated design support.
  • Quality Assurance: Proofread and fact-check content; manage approval processes with relevant stakeholders.
  • Media Coordination: Assist in planning and executing local photo and video shoots.
  • Asset Organization: Maintain and organize shared digital creative files and assets.
  • Data & Metrics: Assist in compiling and assembling communications metrics and scorecards.
  • SharePoint Management: Keep team collaboration sites organized and up to date.
  • Additional Support: Perform other duties as assigned to support communications objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in internal communications or marketing communications preferred
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic team setting

Education:

A Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
