Location: Johnston, IA (Onsite Monday-Thursday, Remote Fridays)
Schedule: 8-hour shift within a 7AM6PM CST window, Monday through Friday
Summary:
We are seeking a bilingual Customer Support Representative fluent in both Portuguese and English to join a fast-paced Technical Support Center team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and technical support for agriculture-related software and hardware products. You will serve as a trusted frontline resource for dealers and customers, ensuring high-quality solutions, clear communication, and an excellent user experience across multiple support channels.
This is a contingent role with long-term opportunities to gain valuable experience in agriculture technology and customer service. Ideal for someone passionate about helping others, solving problems, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver responsive and knowledgeable technical support via phone, email, and chat.
- Assist customers and dealers with software, hardware, and connectivity-related questions for a wide range of agriculture support platforms and devices.
- Document all customer interactions in the case management system with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal and external support resources, including online FAQs and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date on new products and technologies.
- Support occasional off-shift hours, holidays, and overtime based on business needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bilingual fluency in Portuguese and English (verbal and written)
- Previous experience in a customer support or service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to troubleshoot software, connectivity, and user issues effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard computer applications
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule and participate in initial onsite training
Preferred:
- Experience or familiarity with agriculture operations or precision farming
- Technical aptitude with mobile apps, GPS systems, or ag tech platforms
- Knowledge of dealer/distributor support channels
- Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field
Additional Information:
- Paid training provided (approximately 6 weeks) on first shift (8AM4:30PM CST).
- Full productivity typically reached within 34 months.
