Position Summary:

As a Maintenance Mechanic, youll play a critical role in maintaining and repairing vehicles, off-road equipment, and production machinery. Working independently and as part of a team, youll utilize your technical expertise to ensure equipment reliability and safety in a dynamic work environment.

Essential Functions:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain diesel/gas engines, hydraulic motors, hydraulic pumps, transmissions, and other equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems using test equipment and hand tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Inspect equipment and components to detect hazards, defects, or necessary adjustments, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Advise management on potential hazards associated with continued equipment operation.
• Utilize tools such as multimeters, pipe benders, and other basic equipment for maintenance and repairs.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and workplace safety protocols.
• Complete tasks efficiently, accurately, and professionally within assigned deadlines.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• High technical capacity for maintaining and repairing high-speed equipment.

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, oils, grease, and moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme environmental conditions.
• Work environments may be loud, and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing for extended periods.
• Frequently required to lift and move items over 50 pounds.

Education and Experience:

Required:

• Technical training with exposure to high-speed equipment.
• 2+ years of experience maintaining production machines.
• 2+ years of experience servicing on/off-road equipment and vehicles.

Preferred:

• Expertise in engine repair, hydraulic systems, or similar technical disciplines.
• Completion of auto repair vocational school.

Additional Requirements:

• Must provide own tools.
