Inventory Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring inventory accuracy and efficiency through precise data entry, cycle count verification, and root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with inventory systems, a keen analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate with both warehouse personnel and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Print and manage inventory cycle counts.
• Work closely with wage inventory counters to ensure accurate reporting.
• Enter cycle count results into SAP with precision.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve discrepancies in inventory data.

Position Requirements:

• SAP is the primary system used (99% of the time); however, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• SAP experience is highly preferred, but training is available, and candidates with experience in other inventory management systems will be considered.
• A degree is preferred (no specific field required), but candidates with a high school diploma/equivalent and 1+ years of inventory experience in a manufacturing setting will be considered.
• Prior experience in inventory control and root cause corrective action analysis is required.
• Familiarity with warehouse/manufacturing operations (e.g., cycle counts, forklift operations, shipping/receiving) is beneficial, but this role is primarily focused on administrative and data entry tasks rather than physical material handling.
• This role requires spending approximately 50% of the time on the production floor to verify cycle counts, with potential fluctuations based on operational needs.
