Creo Designer / Modeler

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Designer/Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Creo and a strong understanding of modeling and drafting principles. This role requires close collaboration with engineers to create high-quality 3D models and technical drawings that support innovative product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo in accordance with engineering requirements.
• Collaborate directly with engineers to develop accurate and efficient design solutions.
• Manage design data and documentation using PDM/Windchill.
• Apply basic tolerance stack-up calculations to ensure fit and function of mechanical components.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools for communication, reporting, and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Creo for modeling and drafting.
• Working knowledge of PDM/Windchill.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within cross-functional engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and basic tolerance analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 for dimensioning and tolerancing standards.
• Experience adhering to modeling best practices for manufacturability and clarity.
• Strong attention to detail in both modeling and documentation.
• Ability to annotate models within Creo for clear communication of design intent.
