About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and contribute to the optimization of manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for a problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic production environment, utilizing engineering principles to improve efficiency, quality, and material flow. You will work on projects of moderate scope, applying technical expertise and innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing engineering tasks for projects of varying complexity.
  • Assign, coordinate, and review work for support personnel, including contractors.
  • Investigate, analyze, and implement solutions based on gathered data.
  • Utilize electronic tools across applications such as e-builds, modeling, and simulations.
  • Design operation layouts and improve material flow and presentation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Work within an established project management plan to achieve key operational goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Some experience in a manufacturing engineering or related role, including internships or co-ops.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with common manufacturing engineering tools and methodologies, including:
    • CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
    • Manufacturing execution systems (MES)
    • Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
    • Process improvement techniques and root cause analysis
    • ERP systems for production planning and inventory management
