Materials Coordinator I - Material Planning and Control

As a Material Coordinator based in Dubuque, IA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely procurement, production, and delivery of materials for production departments. You will oversee material flow, resolve shortages, and manage inventory to ensure seamless production operations. This is a first-shift role, with standard working hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and the possibility of overtime based on production line demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams to identify and address material availability gaps.
• Provide support to production operators by identifying and resolving material shortages.
• Conduct material audits to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and expedite parts to maintain uninterrupted production.
• Manage critical shortage reports to guarantee part availability.
• Implement outputs from engineering releases and manage change processes.
• Oversee deviation management and inventory adjustments.
• Support cycle counts and reconciliation

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in supply management or manufacturing.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to analyze data and make sound business decisions.
• A collaborative team player with problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in supply management or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with material flow and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in SAP and data analytics.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Supply Management, Business Management, IT, Engineering OR 2-3 years of equivalent work experience.
