Were seeking a driven and highly technical Product Engineer Harvesting Automation to join our team and play a key role in advancing next-generation farming technologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key liaison to custom harvesting crews, promoting the real-world application and adoption of advanced harvesting technologies.
  • Drive implementation and utilization of systems such as Machine Sync, Combine Automation, Advanced Guidance, In-Field Data Sharing, Operations Center, and connectivity platforms.
  • Work directly with customers and dealers to integrate, demonstrate, and optimize harvesting technology in preparation for and during the harvest season.
  • Monitor system performance and provide data-driven insights to maximize the value and effectiveness of the technology.
  • Partner with harvest support teams to ensure seamless implementation and support of systems in the field.
  • Gather continuous feedback from the field to support iterative product enhancements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Core Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Customer Focus Proven commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs, especially within the custom harvester segment.
  • Technical Acumen Solid knowledge of agricultural technology platforms and harvesting equipment functionality.
  • Initiative Self-starter with the ability to independently identify and engage with clients, troubleshoot, and resolve field challenges.
  • Mechanical Proficiency Comfortable installing both hardware and software in field environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with both onboard and cloud-based agriculture technologies, such as Combine Automation, Advanced Guidance, and digital farm management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technologies in relatable terms.
  • Experience working directly with customers and dealership networks.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret utilization data to recommend system optimizations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% during peak harvest months (MaySeptember), including extensive time spent in-field with custom harvest crews.

Location & Travel:
This is a fully remote position. Please note that during the harvest season (May through September), this role will require frequent travel, with up to 75% of the time spent on-site supporting customers.
