Operations Supervisor

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Supervisor to lead and support a high-performing team in a production environment. This role is key to driving safety, quality, and productivity by fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a commitment to performance coaching, and a passion for collaborative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of production employees, ensuring alignment with Safety, Quality, and Delivery objectives.
• Collaborate with upper management to plan production schedules and ensure timely delivery of targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development through coaching and training.
• Proactively identify skills gaps and implement strategies for upskilling and cross-training team members.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by promoting open communication and team-driven problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company protocols.
• Support staffing needs by adapting to production fluctuations, including availability for occasional overtime or weekend shifts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address challenges constructively.
• Excellent decision-making and organizational skills; thrive under pressure and deadlines.
• An effective communicator who fosters teamwork and promotes a solutions-based approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Working knowledge of safety standards and operational best practices.
• Degree preferred or equivalent experience in operations, production, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

• Must wear metatarsal safety boots on the first day.
• Flexibility to support production demands, including potential overtime and weekend work.
