Inventory Analyst
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (minimal overtime)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility. In this role, you will ensure inventory accuracy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence. Your efforts will directly impact production efficiency and supply chain integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate material movement and transactions to ensure synchronization between physical inventory and inventory systems
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and internal audit teams to maintain point-of-use inventory accuracy
- Reconcile inventory variances and assist in developing preventative practices
- Support both monthly cycle counts and year-end financial inventory audits
- Participate in cross-site inventory meetings and initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Solid understanding of inventory flow and material handling processes
- Prior experience in inventory or materials management
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
Additional Information:
- Onsite interviews will be conducted for this position
- Business casual attire required for interviews and onboarding
- Candidates must wear metatarsal protective footwear on the production floor
- Occasional travel between local sites may be required for team meetings or project support (personal vehicle use)
