Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must reside in the Houston, TX area)
Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 base salary + 5% bonus + full benefits

About the Opportunity
We are conducting a confidential search for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a rapidly growing, multi-billion-dollar financial services company. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and wants to play a critical part in shaping financial strategy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to guide business decisions.

• Partner with accounting and business teams to drive month-end close and develop a rolling 12-month forecast.

• Support the annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting process.

• Collaborate cross-functionally, acting as a trusted financial advisor.

• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.

• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.

• Perform reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting principles.

• Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.

• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Must reside in the Houston, TX area.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA designation.

• Experience in auto finance or lending.

• Familiarity with ERP/financial reporting applications.

• Proficiency with SQL (experience is a plus).

• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
