Overview

Our client, a stable and well-established telecommunications provider in the Macon area, is seeking a Regulatory Administrator to support regulatory compliance, reporting, and administrative operations. This role will work closely with accounting, billing, and leadership teams to ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings, documentation management, and communication with state and federal agencies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented administrative professional with experience in a regulated industry who enjoys working with documentation, compliance, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual filings to state and federal regulatory agencies

  • Maintain and update comprehensive filing systems for agreements, property records, audits, loans, grants, vehicles, and related documentation

  • Review and process customer deposits and billing documentation for submission to the Accounting team

  • Support Accounting and Billing by reviewing invoices and ensuring accurate documentation is maintained

  • Review and process easement and encroachment requests, collect associated fees, and maintain supporting records

  • Communicate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and reporting requirements

  • Prepare and track regulatory fee payments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

  • Monitor customer trends (growth, churn, etc.) and assist with setting up new products within billing systems to ensure accurate invoicing

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of administrative support experience, preferably within a regulated industry (telecom, utilities, government, or similar)

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization
