Azure Sales Specialist [Selangor]

We are looking for a Solution Sales specializing in Microsoft Azure who will grow SRKKs Cloud business with the Azure IaaS, and Security Management.

Once appointed to this role, you will function as the sales & technical interface between the customers during the presales process and work closely with Division GM, technical and customer success team. You will be accountable for pre-qualifying opportunities at an early stage.

During the presales phase, you will collaborate with other Technical Presales Specialists to deliver architectural design sessions and pilots. Additionally, you will streamline presales activities, facilitate technical discussions with partners and regional counterparts, and ascertain partner requirements to define suitable solutions. Your role will involve conceptualizing Azure IaaS and Security-powered solutions to address customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and support the acquisition of Azure IaaS & Security Management projects in Malaysia.
• Present and showcase solution demos to pre-qualified customer needs.
• Estimate project delivery efforts with local counterparts and engineering teams.
• Coach/support local Technical Presales Specialists and Solution Architects in writing technical proposals.
• Collaborate with our key vendors such as Microsoft and keep up to speed with technology enhancements and new strategies.

We anticipate that you will succeed in this role if you are an individual who has effective communication skills and are comfortable in customer-facing solutions such as negotiating with stakeholder, understanding the needs of all parties, managing risks and solution delivery. You possess deep analytical skills and collaborate efficiently with a cross-functional team as well as being self-motivated and self-managing with strong organizational skills.

Competencies & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of working experience within the Cloud and/or Security ecosystem, Azure and/or AWS experience is beneficial.
• Practical experience with digital transformations, cloud governance, optimizations, and business analysis such as understanding business processes & needs and identifying solutions with a commercial approach.
• Knowledgeable in engineering and software architecture design, and project and resource management skills.
• Degree in a relevant field is highly regarded.
• Visa requirement: Must already have a working visa if applying as a foreign knowledge worker
