Pay: $65/hr-$110/hr, all-inclusive (no benefits package provided during the contract period)

A leading Global Biotech Company is seeking a Medical Scientific Liaison to support their Neurology strategy in a key field-based role. This individual will act as a scientific and clinical liaison with healthcare providers, clinicians, and laboratory stakeholders across the region.
Therapeutic area: Neurology - disease state and fluid biomarkers, in vitro diagnostic and/or research for use only products - mainly but not limited to Alzheimer's Disease (AD).
Responsibilities:
Educational responsibilities:
- Maintain in-depth scientific and medical knowledge in neurology as pertinent to the role.
- Educate clinicians, laboratorians, and primary care physicians on Alzheimer's disease, early diagnosis, and blood-based biomarkers.
- Prepare, present, and update educational materials on the company's Neurology products.
- Support product launches by providing scientific education for appropriate diagnostic use.
Engagement responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), HCPs, and local stakeholders.
- Deliver scientific insights to internal teams, ensuring stakeholders are informed of the company's neurology pipeline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, marketing, field, and operations teams to execute scientific events (symposia, AdBoards, webinars).
- Support conference planning and participation, including engagement and insight reporting.
- Collect and communicate customer insights to inform medical and business strategy.
- Partner with internal IMT and clinical teams to synthesize disease area trends and support external engagements.
- Assist in planning and execution of advisory boards, publication and evidence generation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Advanced scientific or medical degree required (PhD, MD, PharmD, MSN, BSN) with 3-5 years of relevant clinical/practice/industry experience.
- Clinical or industry experience in Neurology may be accepted in lieu of educational qualifications.
- Strong ability to engage, educate, and influence healthcare professionals across disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
- Excellent communication skills; strong ethical standards; fluent in English.
- Must live in or be willing to self-relocate to the assigned territory; expected to be on the ground with customers and attend key conferences/meetings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of MSL experience in diagnostics or pharmaceuticals.
- Prior experience in Alzheimer's Disease diagnostics and/or neurology strongly preferred.
