Job Title: CT Tech - Imaging
Tasks and Responsibilities:
As a CT Tech in our Imaging department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing CT Scans: Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to obtain diagnostic images of patients' internal structures.
- Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure, and ensuring their comfort and safety during the process.
- Image Quality Control: Ensure the quality and accuracy of CT images, making adjustments as necessary.
- Radiation Safety: Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, including images, reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate scan results.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CT equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- Experience: Prior experience as a CT Tech is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in operating CT equipment and associated software.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technology and industry trends.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to image quality.
Certification Requirements:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
