Job Title: Medical Technologist (Laboratory)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a Medical Technologist in our laboratory, you will play a crucial role in the accurate and timely diagnosis of patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing Clinical Tests: Conduct a wide range of complex laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids, using advanced laboratory equipment and techniques.
  • Analyzing Results: Interpret test results, identify anomalies, and report findings to medical professionals for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and precision of laboratory instruments, maintain records, and participate in quality control and assurance programs.
  • Instrument Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues as they arise.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and compliance standards to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all tests performed and results obtained.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide critical information for patient care.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role of Medical Technologist (Laboratory), candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.

  • Current knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Certification Requirements:

  • BLS (AHA)
