SQA Engineer

Job Description:

• Analyze requirements from Business Analysts, Team Lead, or Product Managers.
• Write and execute test cases, document results, and compare with expected results. Manipulate test data along with validation of stored testing procedures.
• Evaluate functionality from all possible angles and be extremely sharp in coming up with relevant test cases.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of bugs/issues for which a complaint has been received in the form of a support ticket.
• Attend daily Scrum meetings.
• Use JIRA to update the status of tasks.
• Acquire and understand application knowledge and the domain of the application.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
• Suggest new techniques and concepts to improve standards. Deal constantly with software/product development teams in the determination of software issues and relevant resolutions.

Candidate Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QA processes.
• Expertise in writing and executing test cases with exceptional troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to understand SQA processes with a passion for research and the capability to portray strong impact analysis.
• Test automation experience will be a huge PLUS.
• MUST have worked on large enterprise-grade products.
• Strong English communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Experience with Database testing and SQL Queries.
• Familiarity with performance testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience in security testing.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in an agile/scrum development environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
