Position Overview
We are expanding our Solutions Engineering team and are looking for a Solutions Engineer who will learn, support, and eventually lead technical solutioning for customer requirements. This is an early-career, growth-oriented role designed for someone who is eager to build deep product knowledge, strengthen technical problem-solving skills, and collaborate closely with both internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Product & Technical Knowledge Development (Initial Focus)
- Build an advanced understanding of the platform, workflows, integrations, and customization capabilities.
- Learn internal tools, processes, data flow, and technical architecture.
- Shadow the Senior Solutions Engineer in ongoing projects to learn delivery standards and solutioning methodologies.
2. Support for Requirements Gathering & Solution Design
- Assist the SSE in capturing customer requirements for:
- Success-initiated customizations
- Support-initiated development needs
- Sales opportunities requiring technical evaluation
- Help translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
3. Assist in Technical Analysis & Feasibility
- Support the SSE in evaluating custom development requests.
- Participate in drafting solution approaches, data mappings, and functional documentation.
- Conduct research and preliminary investigations into feasibility questions.
4. Project Support & Coordination
- Provide support to the SSE in managing development tasks, clarifications, and communication with Engineering and Product teams.
- Track small tasks and enhancements that fall under solutions engineering.
- Support QA, UAT, and validation efforts for custom work.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, templates, and documentation.
- Keep up-to-date with product updates and new features.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases as expertise grows.
Qualifications and Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development concepts (APIs, data structures, workflows).
- Ability to read/understand technical documentation; optional bonus if the candidate can write simple scripts or queries.
- Familiarity with SaaS systems and web technologies.

- Ability to break down business problems into structured requirements.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Success).
