Job Description

Spry Squared is looking for a Software Developer for our client to provide web-based applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Role is 100% on-site, no remote work.
• Develops, plans, and analyzes, designs products, and programs computer software that requires extensive research. 
• Utilizes advanced knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies.
  
• Develops and oversees web-based application design and creation.
• Plans, designs, evaluates, develops, tests, edits, maintains, and documents user-facing software/applications. 
• Interview clients to help them clarify their goals for establishing an application/website.
• Designs or supervises the design of digitized images, banners, bullets, charts, image maps, and other graphics to enhance the appearance of the application/website.
  
• Applies knowledge of programming techniques and computer internet systems.
• Performs release testing for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software.

Qualifications

Required qualifications

• Must have active DoD TOP SECRET with SCI clearance.
• BS/BA in Computer Science or STEM-based equivalent.
• 4 years of development experience in multiple programming languages, environments, and systems
• MUST HAVE Ruby on Rails development experience
  
• Experience with additional programming/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, C/C++, etc
  
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles
  
• Strong communication skills written, oral, and presentation
  
• Must meet DoDI 8570.01 certification requirements IAT Lvl II within 90 days of hire

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 Depending on Experience
