An immediate opening for a Systems Analyst with Records Management and Paper Reduction experience.

Specific Enagement Tasks:

  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on Department-wide policy guidance and oversight for federally mandated Section 508 implementation. Evaluate the Departments level of compliance for creating Section 508 compliant electronic and information technology (EIT) and provide recommendations on how to improve the agencys efforts to develop, procure, and maintain EIT solutions that increase the DoD EIT environment accessibility.
  • Collaborate with DoD Component partners to develop and support advocacy of programs, processes, and policy that enables full compliance within DoD for the intent of Section 508.
    Support the Office of the DoD CIO records management requirements, including furtherance of DoD CIO responsibilities with respect to the Federal Records Act and associated orders and policies.
  • The contractor personnel should be knowledgeable with DoD Record Management policies, paper and electronic records disposition, records disposition schedules, share drive restructuring, records management inspections and evolutions, and files plans.
  • The contractor personnel shall employ best practices to create and execute procedures that modernize records management and processes for meeting records requirements within DoD CIO, setting a DoD benchmark.
  • The contractor personnel shall facilitate meetings, gather information, analyze and develop reports, and other associated tasks that enable legal and policy compliance for the Office of the DoD CIO records management program status updating processes.
  • Support the enterprise-wide guidance, policies, evaluation, and oversight for the Paper Reduction Act (PRA), PRA violation, burden reduction, DoD forms management and DoD information quality; and the accessibility of DoD information for disabled individuals; and support with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to oversee DoD execution of DCIO (R&A)/CSI requirements and mandates, as well as other federal CIO/privacy matters.

  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
  • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Must be a US Citizen
MUST HAVE A CLEARANCE OF TOP SECRET with SCI or higher

  • BS Degree in technical discipline and 5 years related experience in Records Management. Four (4) years relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelors Degree.
