About the job Business Development Manager

MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The primary responsibility of the Business Development (BD) Manager is to find and develop new markets to increase company revenue and market footprint, and will collaborate with Sprout’s Sales, Customer Success and RevOps teams for lead generation, contract negotiations and reporting.

TASKS:


  • Complete framework for Sprout Business Development department, including programs, resources needed, budget, quota, payments, partner portal, Playbook, etc.

  • Create Business Development / Channels Development / Partnership playbook

  • Develop out BD channels: FI’s, SI’s, Telco’s, Health/Insurance companies

  • Contact potential partners to establish rapport and initiate partnership negotiations

  • Conduct outbound business development activities in order to build relationships with different companies and organizations

  • Maintain business relationships with existing and prospective partners

  • Plan and oversee co-marketing initiatives in relation to business development

  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the company



REQUIREMENTS:


  • 5 years experience with BD for SaaS

  • HR industry experience a plus

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM and PRM software a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, legal or related field

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Superior consultative and enterprise (large/complex deal) selling skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Knowledgeable in Obligations and Contracts

  • Ability to flourish with minimal supervision

  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Office Suites
