DIRECTLY REPORTS TO:

People Operations Manager


MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The primary responsibility of the Learning and Development Associate is to prepare and implement learning strategies and programs, assess each role’s training needs, facilitate new hire onboarding and deploy different kinds of learning methods company wide such as coaching, job-shadowing٫ online training and so on.



TASKS:

  • Identify training needs to address and bridge gaps in skills and competency by making use of training needs analysis and performance evaluations, and coordinating with line heads and department managers

  • Release the annual training matrix at the start of each calendar year

  • Monitor the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities

  • Collaborate with managers to develop their team members through career pathing

  • Source external training programs, seminars or workshops for identified training needs

  • Create and design training modules and facilitate learning through conducting internal brown bag sessions, seminars or workshops

  • Maintain a database tracking return service agreements, training man hours and cost of investments to ensure

  • Organize e-learning courses٫ workshops and other trainings

  • Handle all training logistics and administrative functions of Learning & Development

  • In-charge of new employee onboarding program

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the company



QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES:


  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in Learning and Development / Training

  • Familiarity with both traditional and modern job training methods, trends and techniques

  • Significant experience with effective learning and development methods

  • Experience in project management and budgeting

  • Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices, with experience in Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency, familiarity with web delivery tools
