Whats the role about?

As a Business Operations Manager you will partner with Growth and Customer Success leaders to leverage operational data in order to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities. You will be accountable for executing on identified cross-functional process improvement programs; and empower a small team of Process Improvement Analyst and Technology Specialists to deliver results.

The candidate for this role will be someone who can both manage and improve our current Revenue Operations infrastructure. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to play an integral part in our team's growth and productivity. We are looking for an individual who can be a jack of all trades managing sales processes, the tech stack including Hubspot, all while maintaining our data integrity and providing a long term solution for our growth teams.Were looking for someone to help our teams proactively address a diverse array of cross-functional business challenges. When issues arise within functions, theres always a competent leader to handle them; but when those issues arise between those functions and its revenue related, its Business Operations who can swoop in and help.

Key Job Functions:

Process

  • Design and implement new business processes, improve existing processes and automation, and introduce new solutions to support our Growth and Customer Success teams.

  • Ability to build for the long term, but also able to find efficient short-term means.

  • Accountable for a portfolio of process improvement projects aligned to one, or more teams and own documentation of key processes to insure knowledge management and smooth rollouts

  • Lead the planning and execution of process improvement projects in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis, identify and evaluate specific business opportunities; help strategize initiatives to improve revenue operations

  • Coach cross-functional team members on process improvement frameworks and projects

  • Build, coach, and develop a high performing team

Tools

  • Manage the current growth tech stack including improving the workflows currently in place with Hubspot and owning the diligence of additional platforms.

  • Ensure the integrity of data and data flows in Hubspot, and other sales and marketing support tools and how they interact with our other systems

  • Manage external vendors and suppliers as well as vendor evaluation

Project Management

  • Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing projects born out of business needs for the sales and marketing operations teams including:
    • Engage the appropriate sponsors, stakeholders, individuals and teams

    • Work to determine the scope, desired outcome, and timeline

    • Report out, update, and adapt the project plan as required by stakeholders and business needs

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in process improvement, preferably in sales, customer experience and/or operations

  • Experience leading process improvement or high-visibility projects in tech or tech startups

  • Proven track record and passion for creating processes that improve customer experience, deliver high quality and are efficient

  • Lean Six Sigma experience or certification (or other process improvement frameworks)

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Google Suite/MS Office

  • Experience in cross functional collaboration and working in matrixed structures

  • Creative problem solving skills. You combine depth of knowledge of software and creativity to deliver easy to use tools.

  • You thrive in fast-paced, get-stuff-done environments - and have a proven track-record of juggling multiple priorities and projects

  • Experience with change management and ability to influence cross-functional organizations

  • Prior experience working with Hubspot/SalesForce/CRM experience

  • Experience with customer-facing, customer service organizations (a plus, but not required)

  • Experience in management consulting is an asset
