About the job Community Officer (Hybrid Set-up)
Main Area of Responsibility:
Sprout's Community Officer/Manager is responsible for proposing strategies & executions relevant to Sprouts online channels to build a community of followers, handle support questions, and increase engagement.
Duties:
Develop strategies for current and future communities relevant to industries and campaigns
Making data-driven decisions to improve engagement and post quality
Build relationships with the online community; Monitor social media channels to build a community of followers, handle support questions, and increase engagement.
Responsible for daily monitoring and response to comments, private messages, and mentions on the brands owned assets i.e. FB, IG, etc.
Escalates issues and complaints following the process flow defined by the team; Able to manage crises whenever the situation calls for it.
Regularly share community insights with the appropriate stakeholders so that they can respond accordingly.
Monitoring the conversations about the brand within and outside its assets via social listening
Stay up-to-date on the latest HR industry, best practices and digital trends
Be proactive in identifying and managing opportunities within the social space and make recommendations.
Develops reports defined by the team on a periodic basis (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) i.e. growth, engagement, issues, competitor activities etc.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing or any relevant course.
- Has at least 2-5 years proven work experience as a community officer/ social media specialist
- Experience in launching community initiatives and moderating forum discussions
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Canva is a plus
