Chartered Valuation Surveyor – Associate Director
We're working with a well-established and growing firm of chartered surveyors who are looking to appoint an experienced Chartered Valuation Surveyor at Associate Director level to join their London team.
This is a great opportunity for an MRICS-qualified surveyor with strong commercial valuation experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a professional, collaborative and growing business.
About the Role
The role will focus primarily on producing high-quality commercial property valuations for a range of clients, including:
- Lenders and financial institutions
- Property companies and developers
- Investors and asset managers
You'll be responsible for:
- Conducting property inspections and market research across a range of commercial properties
- Producing clear, accurate and well-supported valuation reports in line with RICS Red Book standards
- Undertaking valuations for loan security, accounts, acquisitions and disposals, and internal portfolio reviews
- Managing valuation instructions from initial enquiry through to completion
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, lenders and other professional stakeholders
- Keeping up to date with market movements, comparable evidence and relevant valuation standards
- Managing your own workload and ensuring reports are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Contributing to the continued growth of the valuation team and supporting the development of client relationships
You'll be joining an established team with a strong pipeline of valuation work, where quality, accuracy and professionalism are prioritised.
About You
- MRICS qualified, with at least five years' post-qualified experience
- Strong experience delivering commercial property valuations in accordance with RICS Red Book standards
- A good understanding of the London and South East commercial property market
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong standard of report writing
- Confident managing your own caseload and handling instructions independently
- Comfortable dealing directly with clients and other professional stakeholders
- Commercially minded, organised and detail-oriented
- Looking for an Associate Director-level opportunity within a growing and supportive team
Salary & Benefits
- £60,000–£70,000 per annum, depending on experience
