An established and growing financial services business is seeking a bright and capable Administrator to support their Mortgage and Insurance team. This role would suit someone with previous experience in insurance, mortgages, legal, or accountancy administration, and a keen interest in financial services, training will be provided. 

Key Responsibilities

  • General administration, including filing, shredding, answering calls, and managing client queries
  • Entering commissions into accounting software (training provided)
  • Writing suitability letters for life insurance, health insurance, and mortgage products
  • Supporting the business in adhering to FCA regulations and compliance standards
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records across systems
  • Managing new business and renewals processes
  • Obtaining and collating insurance quotes
  • Completing application forms and following up with providers
  • Ensuring timely processing of renewals
  • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell to existing clients

Requirements

  • Previous office experience is essential
  • Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work independently
  • Experience in a client-facing role is advantageous
  • Knowledge of insurance and/or financial services is beneficial (not essential)

Other Details:

  • Location: NW4, North-West London
  • Salary: £29,000 £33,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Hours: Full time, 9:00am 5:00pm
