About the job Accounts Assistant
Bookkeeper
Our Client, a Property Development Company based in NW2, is now seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
Responsibilities;
- Process invoices, credit notes, and sales orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor outstanding customer accounts and proactively follow up on overdue payments
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person to resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding issues
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness by conducting credit checks and reviewing credit applications
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or variances
- Prepare periodic reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and collection activities
- Assist in the preparation of financial documents, such as invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Support the finance department in various administrative tasks as required
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Previous experience working in an accounts-related role is preferred
- Candidates with experience in finance, operations, or administration are also encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of debits & credits, purchase ledgers, and sales ledgers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and IT literate
- Ideally, familiar with QuickBooks software
