Bookkeeper

Our Client, a Property Development Company based in NW2, is now seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.

Responsibilities;

  • Process invoices, credit notes, and sales orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Monitor outstanding customer accounts and proactively follow up on overdue payments
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person to resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding issues
  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness by conducting credit checks and reviewing credit applications
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or variances
  • Prepare periodic reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and collection activities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial documents, such as invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
  • Support the finance department in various administrative tasks as required

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Previous experience working in an accounts-related role is preferred
  • Candidates with experience in finance, operations, or administration are also encouraged to apply
  • Basic understanding of debits & credits, purchase ledgers, and sales ledgers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and IT literate
  • Ideally, familiar with QuickBooks software
