We are currently seeking a Line Cook to work for one of our clients in the restaurant industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, following recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service begins.
• Ensure food is prepared safely and meets quality standards for taste and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies are low or need restocking.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and properly storing food and supplies.
• Handle equipment responsibly, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
• Work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours.

Qualification & Experience

• 1+ year of experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic Knowledge on how to clean, cut and prep meat and seafood.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to meet business demands.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Shift work 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekdays.
• On weekends, the PM shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
• Three days off per fortnight.
