Production Systems

  • Coach and challenge countries in identifying, prioritizing, and specifying IT related demands to ensure high quality of business specifications
  • Closely work with Global and other Regions to align and prioritize demands and manage the regional Ocean demand pipeline
  • Organize and ensure execution of UAT across Countries in Region with Country P&S Managers under coordination of Global Ocean Production Systems
  • Work with Global and liaise with other Regions to advise and support development and maintenance of target blueprints and roadmaps
  • Facilitate business requirements definition for local interfaces with customers, suppliers, and other external partners
  • Define and align deployment schedules with Countries in the Region and with the Global Production Systems team
  • Lead quality investigations and Root Cause Analysis using lean tools to improve operational data quality.

Governance

  • Ensure that the company's Ocean standards and guidelines for the operational execution are aligned with latest governmental and industry regulations applicable in the Region.
  • In close collaboration with Global Ocean Freight Governance keep abreast of relevant industry and governmental regulations related to Ocean Freight.
  • Evaluate regulations regarding their impact on operations and existing processes, policies, and guidelines, as well as on IT requirements.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to define business requirements resulting from regulatory compliance.
  • Support the definition of training curricula and the development of training content.
  • Communicate relevant regulatory related updates and developments.
  • Validate other Ocean Freight training contents with respect to regulatory, operational, and commercial standards.

Requirements

  • A minimum 5-year track record in a business analyst and/or functional requirement analysis and specification related role in global freight forwarding.
  • Managerial experience in leading international teams, demonstrated experience leading and building technical teams incl. hiring, training, development, coaching and mentoring
  • Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams, virtual communities & influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
  • Provides business support for escalated cases. requiring in-depth functional knowledge in close collaboration with the Regional Training & Support function
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to revise, update and amend policies, and guidelines to reflect latest regulations.
  • Masters degree in related technical / business areas or equivalent work experience
