About the job IT Support Analyst
Our client is looking for an IT Ninja that loves to solve problems and make things work, and constantly on the lookout for new technology that can help the company get the most out of its resources.
You know the ins and outs of everything from Microsoft 365 to Trend Micro, and you don't shy away from complex issues or difficult customers. You've got a natural gift for helping people get set up with new laptops and accounts, and you're always willing to lend a hand when it comes to trouble-shooting.
What's the day to day like?
1. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
2. Supporting, monitoring and maintaining office network systems (Microsoft 365, Trend Micro, Firewall, Hyper-V, VMWare etc)
3. Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
4. Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
5. Setting up accounts and laptops for new users
6. Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary, liaise with IT vendors or suppliers
7. Testing new technology for the business
8. Support business application (ERP, MES) and writing reports using SQL or BI Tools.
9. Ensures 5S is implemented in the work area.
What you need to be a rockstar in this role:
1. Min Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology
2. 1 year working experience in supporting network servers, laptops and software in network environments using windows
3. Knowledge of SQL, with experience writing reports using BI tools and SharePoint professionally
4. Technical and logical thought process with a knack for problem-solving
