Job Summary:

The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and training. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and a deep understanding of the laws and regulations that govern the field. They should have a flexible and adaptable approach, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting initial interviews.
  • Employee Relations: Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on employee relations issues, such as performance management, career development, and employee engagement.
  • Benefits: Administer employee benefits, such as health insurance, 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the company is in compliance with all federal and state laws, such as the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Training: Assist in the development and delivery of employee training programs.
  • Assist with payroll, timekeeping, and other HR-related administrative tasks.
  • Assist with employee data management and maintenance of employee records
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and programs.
  • Maintaining and updating employee handbook
  • Represent the company at job fairs and other recruitment events.
  • Stay current on HR trends, laws and regulations, and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
