As the IT executive, you will need to have good communication skills and be a team player. You will need to work well under pressure and know how to prioritize tasks effectively. You need to be innovative and creative and come up with and collaborate with key teams in order to deliver effective IT solutions.
Your responsibilities in this role
Remote or online support, maintenance and resolution of hardware and software issues related to end-user desktops/laptops, servers, printers and other network issues within the organization.
Vendor escalation for desktops/laptop hardware purchases, repairs or software troubleshooting.
Maintain and review IT documentation, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions and contracts.
Support, review & liaise with end users on the implementation of an IT governance framework, policies, systems, infrastructure to ensure compliance and alignment to guidelines.
Perform and participate in capacity planning, redundancy planning and execution of Disaster Recovery Plan.
Provide input for annual IT requirements planning and budgeting.
Involve and conduct regular system audits for IT effectiveness, efficiency and security.
Analyze & evaluate system & users requirements and make recommendations for IT upgrades.
Propose suggestions to improve IT systems and operations.
Identify acquisition opportunities of new innovations for the organization.
Assist to drive digital transformation initiatives in line with strategic objectives of the organization.
As part of the digital transformation initiative, work with external service providers to implement new applications, projects or upgrades.
Liaise with multiple vendors and stakeholders in resolving problems in the rolling out of new applications and ensuring that project delivery is on time.
