As an IT Analyst at Sparks Wiz Limited, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our technology infrastructure and systems. You will work closely with engineering teams and other departments to ensure that IT solutions align with business needs, improve operational efficiency, and support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systems and Application Support:
- Provide technical support for internal IT systems and applications, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and user assistance.
- Ensure the stability and performance of software applications used by engineering and consulting teams.
- IT Infrastructure Management:
- Assist in the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades or changes to ensure optimal operation.
- Project Implementation:
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to identify technology needs and develop IT solutions that support project goals.
- Participate in the planning, testing, and implementation of new IT systems or upgrades.
- Data Management and Security:
- Ensure data integrity, security, and backup processes are in place and functioning correctly.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company and client data.
- Technical Documentation:
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
- Develop user guides and training materials to support end-users in effectively utilizing IT resources.
- User Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users on software applications, IT tools, and best practices.
- Address and resolve user issues and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Vendor and Contract Management:
- Assist in managing relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
- Support the evaluation and selection of technology products and services.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Recommend and implement improvements to IT systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in IT support, systems analysis, or a related role, preferably within an engineering or consulting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT systems, including operating systems, networking, and applications. Familiarity with database management and IT security practices.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support a diverse range of IT needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Engineering Software: Familiarity with engineering software applications and tools used in consulting projects is advantageous.
- Certifications: Additional IT certifications or training relevant to the role (e.g., ITIL, Cisco Certified Network Associate).
