INSTRUCTOR THERAPIST
Our clients are incredible people seeking care in Ottawa East and South Ottawa. Working with us, you would have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in the community and have access to monthly team meetings and in-session supervision.
We are excited to work with you because:
- You are passionate about working with individuals of all ages, specifically in our children and youth population
- You have strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team including other Spark team members or community professionals
- You are reliable and organized
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You have at least 6 months working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or providing ABA therapy
- You are able to provide one-to-one intervention in the home or community
HOURS:
Flexible schedule options
RATE OF PAY:
Starting at $48/hr
Requirements
- Cover letter outlining why you would be a great match for Spark. Tell us who you are!
- Valid First Aid and CPR Standard level C certification
- CPI, TCI, and/or NVCI (current certification)
- Smartphone with a data plan
- A Clear Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
- Bachelor’s Degree or currently enrolled in a University program related to Behavioural Science, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or Early Childhood Development
Assets
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Bilingual
- Drivers License G class with access to a vehicle
- Registered Behavioural Technician certification
